* We learned two very important things at last night's board meeting:
1) Our money looks good, and play has picked up
considerably with the nicer weather. 2) There are many upcoming events
which will bring in even more money. We were just trying to find a
Saturday night for our course anniversary celebration and had to go to the last
Saturday of September! That is a very good problem to have, but if you want to book something for the course or
clubhouse or banquet hall, you better get on the horn and call the clubhouse
soon.
Dates to Remember:
July 29: Men Over 50
Tournament:
July 28 - 31: Junior Camp - for ages 5 years and older
August 2: Pruess/Baker Wedding Reception
-
August 3: Open Couples Tournament:
August 11: Next Board Meeting -
This Fall: 30-Year Anniversary Celebration: Saturday,
September 27
NOTE: All Leagues and Couples Nights - Members Only

And then the fight started...
When I got home last night, my wife demanded that I take her someplace
expensive...
so, I took her to a gas station... and then the fight started...
My wife and I were sitting at a table at my high school reunion, and I kept
staring at a drunken lady swigging her drink as she sat alone at a nearby
table.
My wife asked,'Do you know her?'
'Yes,' I sighed, 'She's my old girlfriend. I
understand she took to drinking right
after we split up those many years ago, and I hear she hasn't been sober
since.'
'My God!' says my wife, 'Who would think a person could
go on celebrating that long?'
And then the fight started...

the word is the judge ruled in favor of the sale of the golf course land.
Yes! However, there are still some loose ends to tie together before it
is a closed deal. I will keep you posted...
