News at the Course:
Even though we are just in the middle of August, it is time to choose a great place for your holiday party or family function.  Please consider Lincoln Valley.  The staff will work with you, the price will be right, and when our clubhouse gets decorated, it looks very festive.  Another thought I have presented before is to have one of those decade birthdays at our clubhouse.  You know the ones, and you have had one of those - ends in a Zero.  Call the clubhouse to book the date.  You will have a super great time; that is a guarantee!

Church Jokes
Johnny's Mother looked out the window and noticed Him "playing church" with their cat. He had the cat sitting quietly and he was preaching to it. She smiled and went about her work.
A while later she heard loud meowing and hissing and ran back to the open window to see Johnny baptizing the cat in a tub of water.
She called out, "Johnny, stop that! The cat is afraid of water!"
Johnny looked up at her and said, "He should have thought about that before he joined my church." 

After eating a nice meal at a local restaurant, the little kid asked his dad why the waitress gets 15% and God only gets 10.

Sometime in September, the annual membership meeting will be held.  At this meeting, a detailed account of our finances from this past year, and a look ahead to the future, will be presented.  After this week's board meeting, I will let you know the date of the meeting.
